Howard's photography has developed a well defined style always rendering high energy images with a strong visual impact.

He is a native of San Diego, California with more than thirty years of involvement in artistic endeavors including music, fine art (watercolor, oil, soft pastel) and photography. 

Howard is active in local art and photography organizations serving on the Board of the Southern California Association of Camera Clubs and as former President of the Carlsbad Oceanside Art League, regularly showing his work in the leagues gallery.

Award Winning Photographer

Howard's photographs have been juried into many fine art shows and have won numerous awards as well as cash prizes.

His work is represented in homes and businesses from San Diego to Washington DC.

He has designed and produced magazine style books for his clients using images from events he has photographed.  These books serve as archival records for the clients and keepsake albums for key people involved in the organization.

This portrait, "Berthe Morisot in the 21st Century" won 1st place in the portrait and figure category in a January, 2008 art show in Carlsbad, California.

What's Coming Up?

Here is a partial list of events scheduled for the near future:

• Photographing the Friends of East County Arts, Inc. Annual Gala and fundraiser at the Sycuan Resort and Hotel. 
• Photographing the St. Madeleine Sophie's Center annual fund raiser at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina on Harbor Island.
• Organizing and presenting artwork for the 5th El Cajon Invitational Art Exhibit where seventeen artists and photographers will present 107 works of art.
• Arranging art exhibitions and silent auction art items for the Mt. Helix Park Foundation fundraiser, "heART of mt helix."
• Another wedding is in the works!
